Hummus Pocket Sandwich – 450 Calories

Note: This recipe calls for hummus. If you don’t like hummus, you can choose any other sauce that’s under 175 calories per 120g.

Ingredients

  • 50g (about 3) Cherry tomato’s
  • 1 large Pita Bread (64g – about 6.5 inch dia.)
  • 120g Hummus
  • 1/4 cup (8g) Alfalfa sprouts
  • 7g (1/2 tbsp) Olive oil

Directions

1: Rinse cherry tomatoes and cut into halves.

2: Slice an opening at the top of each pita and spread hummus on the inside of each. Stuff with alfalfa sprouts and 6 tomato halves. Drizzle olive oil over the sandwich filling and serve.
